Luzon State Deputy is the new President of KCFAPI

MANILA, July 29, 2010—Luzon State Deputy Alonso L. Tan is now the President of KC Life, a mutual benefit association of the Knight of Columbus Philippines.

Tan succeeded Antonio B. Borromeo who has served the KC association for three years.

Aside from his latest post, Tan is also a Director of the Keys Realty and the President of the two KC foundations, which are the KC Fr. George J. Willman Charities, Inc and the KC Philippines Foundation.

He is a member of the Manila Council 1000 in Intramuros and a former Grand Knight of the said council.

Tan was born in Cuyo Palawan. He studied and graduated at the University of the East with a degree in BS Commerce-Major in Management.

He also studied Bureau of Small Business (General Management Course) at the Ateneo De Manila University in Katipunan.

Aside from his obligations and duties as a fraternal leader, he has been also managing his time with his other businesses.

Currently, he is the Chairman and CEO of the Goldrock Construction and Development Corporation; Board Director of the RBL Fishing Corporation and President of the Inter-Island Deep-Sea Fishing Association and Alliance of Philippine Fishing Federations, Inc. (Kate Laceda)
