Fr. Willmann Charities helps seminarian studying for priesthood

MANILA, Oct. 14, 2011—A son of a Brother Knight is asking for the support of Fr. George J. Willmann Charities to help fulfill his dream of becoming a priest someday.

Brother Ritz Darwin P. Resuello is the son of Ricardo Resuello, Bulacan K of C member Council No. 12892 and Perla Resuello. He is currently enrolled in Theology at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Tabang, Guiginto, Bulacan.

The young Resuello was recently recognized as one of the recipients of Fr. George J. Willmann Academic Excellence Award.

The award was given last month during the installation of newly elected officers of Bulacan Council 12892 held at St. Bartolome Parish located in Tugatog, Meycuayan, Bulacan.

Resuello was not present at that time due to a very important commitment, but his parents came to receive the award given by Parish Priest Fr. Lamberto C. Tomas and Area Manager Efren Casupanan.

Ritz finished AB Philosophy and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

The Fr. George J. Willmann Charities was originally established as Fr. Willmann Fund for Seminarians and then merged which Christopher Foundation, which was expanded in 2000 to become KC Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc. In its Articles of Incorporation amended on April 15, 1998, the foundation has the primary purpose of promoting religious, charitable, educational, civic and social pursuits. (FBG News)
