Another scholar of the KC Philippines Foundation, Inc., Ms. Katrina B. Baliling graduated with distinction.

Ms. Baliling graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology with the Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy last April 7, 2015. She also received a Special Achievement Award as 1st runner up in the Philippine Final Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) 2014 Global Business Challenge awarded during the graduation rites.

Ms. Katrina was born on April 21, 1994 at Iligan City. She is the loving daughter of Sis. Cerenia B. Baliling, a public school teacher and Bro. Wilfredo L. Baliling of Council 12550 Bahayan 6 Luinab, Iligan City. She took her primary education at Iligan City East Central School and her secondary education at Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology Integrated Developmental School.

During her elementary and high school days, she was a consistent honor student and was very active in many extra-curricular activities. She had a chance to be the school’s representative for editorial writing during the Division Schools’ Press Conference where she placed as second overall winner.

Currently, Ms. Katrina is busy reviewing at the CPA Review School of the Philippines in Manila.
