Rev. Raisun John Romana Placino and Rev. Vic Eclevea Tabernilla, two of the seminarian-scholars of KC Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc., were ordained as Deacon last May 11, 2015 by Most Reverend Emilio Z. Marquez, D.D., Bishop of Lucena at the Our Mother of Good Counsel Chapel St. Alphonsus Regional Seminary, Brgy. Isabang, Lucena City.

Rev. Raisun John is the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Pedrito and Asuncion Placino. He attracted to the vocation of priesthood when he was transferred to a Catholic school on his third grade and then joined the Knights of the Altar. In 2001, he enrolled at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seminary in Sariaya, Quezon for his secondary education then at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Seminary for his Philosophy Studies.

Meanwhile, Rev. Vic is the youngest child of the couple Angelito and Sozima Tabernilla. He finished his elementary schooling at Tayabas West Central School. He joined the Knights of the Altar from elementary and continued his altar chores inl his secondary education at Luis Palad National High Shool. Rev. Vic also entered the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Seminary and where he finished his Philosophy studies. Rev. Raisun John and Rev. Vic was selected as scholars of the Foundation during the school year 2010-2011 for a five-year course in Theology at Saint Alphonsus Regional Seminary.

Another KC Seminarian-Scholar was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons. Rev. Benigno J. Bonode was ordained last June 9, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Boac, Marinduque by Most Reverend Marcelino Antonio M. Maralit, Jr. D.D. Rev. BJ as he is fondly called, is the eldest son of six children of Mr. Samuel Bonode and Mrs. Susana Jandusay. His vocation began when he received his first communion and wondered on pursuing a priestly vocation. He eventually joined their parish as an altar server. He entered Mount St. Aloysius College Seminary and finished with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He was recommended by Rev. Fr. Mario E. Baldeo, rector of the said seminary to pursue theological studies. Following the advice of his mentor, he entered St. Alphonsus Regional in 2010. He was a Fr. Willmann Charities scholar from school year 2011- 2012. (Christopher Camila)
