Curia, State Officers and KCFAPI employees.

It was on September 9, 1958, when KCFAPI was duly licensed by the Insurance Commission to operate as an insurance entity solely for the members of the order in the Philippines with an initial funding of Php 32,000.00. As of today, KCFAPI is now extending its arms not only within the Order but to the general public by its wholly-owned and majority-owned companies. These companies are the Keys Realty and Development Corporation, Kompass Credit and Financing Corporation and MACE Insurance Agency, Inc. In addition, under KRDC, the Columbus Plaza Hotel operates at Gen. Santos City and the Holy Trinity Memorial Chapels and Crematorium in Parañaque City. To cater to the needs of the families of the brother knights for educational purposes (collegiate, sacred orders and licentiate), the KC Philippines Foundations, Inc. and the Knights of Columbus Fr. George J. Willmann Charities, Inc. continue its operations with the aid of the Association.

The event was attended by the State Officers and other distinguished guests that have shared their time, knowledge and experiences with the Association.

KCFAPI employees prepared an opening production number, which they have rehearsed for two months, as part of their thanksgiving to the Association. KCFAPI Executive Vice President gave the Welcome Remarks for all the guests present. KCFAPI Corporate Secretary Anthony P. Nazario and Treasurer Gerry Eutemio T. Mission gave their Words of Wisdom. Moreover, KCFAPI Chairman Jose C. Reyes, Jr. gave the Chairman’s Message which was then followed by a Ceremonial Toast for everyone to recognize KCFAPI’s legacy for the past years and well-wishes for the years to come.

In commencement of the State Deputies’ fortified fraternal service to the Association and the Order, a token of gratitude was also presented to them, given by the Executive Vice President.

KCFAPI in its 60 years of existence serves as the hands that give love to those in need. A hand that is open to give itself to the welfare of the Order, as Fr. George has done in his earthly life. At all times, he never failed to reach the oppressed, touch the depressed and protect the suppressed. As our theme song is entitled, “Hands of Love”, we continue to be and aspire to be the best of those hands that will ensure us of the fraternal love, God’s special gift. (JSServiento)
