Servant of God, Fr. George J. Willmann’s 120th Birth Anniversary

FATHER GEORGE J. WILLMANN, was born at Brooklyn, New York. An American citizen yet when he set his foot on the Philippine soil, he fell in love with the country and the Filipinos (excerpt from the homily of Jaime Card. Sin on Fr. George’s funeral mass).

TEAM KCFAPI CARES : Reliving the Works of Fr. George J. Willmann

They say that it is very dangerous when you go to Tondo, a connotation that has been around for years due to what is known for its history. For the month of August, the activity was intended for the care of the elderly.

The team chose the elders from Tondo because of two main reasons, first is to be connected and relive the works done by Fr. Willmann for the poor of Tondo. Team Love Bank: Home Is Where the Heart Is

This piece could be a tad mushy that you would think it is too deceitful because a grown-up wrote it. Have you noticed which part of the society being mushy is generally accepted? The children. Why? You already know it, you’ve grown too much that you gradually leave behind the knowledge of what matters most. As Monsieur Antoine de Saint-Exupery puts it, “Only the children know what they are looking for.”

A house or a home? When you say homeless, what is it that you typically connote it with? They have no shelter, a place to live in, a four-walled structure with a roof, an infrastructure…that’s it. A house, then. So why not call them houseless? Why homeless? Because it’s a custom. Try to understand beyond it and you will spot the difference.
