KC Philippines Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Luzon North Jurisdiction held its Relief Operations

Based on PDRRMC Resolution No. 1 series 2018, cities and towns in the province suffered heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Henry last July 15 – 24, Tropical Storm Inday last July 17 – 24 and Tropical Depression Josie last July 20 –23 that enhanced the southwest monsoon. The damage to the province was worsened by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Storm Karding and high tide last August 11-13, 2018.  read more »

KC Philippines Foundation, Inc. donates P300K to KC Luzon South, Visayas and Mindanao Jurisdictions

As part of the Order of the Knights of Columbus’ virtue, “Charity”, the KC Philippines Foundation, Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Association of the Philippines, Inc. donated P100,000.00 each to the KC Luzon South, Visayas and Mindanao Jurisdictions to be distributed to the areas stricken by the Mayon Volcano eruption in Bicol and by the typhoons Urduja and Vinta that hit the country in the Visayas and Mindanao.  read more »

Knights of Columbus seminarian-scholar ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood

LAST JUNE 7, 2017 the community of St. Augustine Parish in Cuyo, Palawan join Rev. Fr. Philip Jerold Francia Tan as he pledges his vow of celibacy with Most Rev. Edgardo S. Juanich, DD, Apostolic Vicar of Taytay as the ordaining minister. Fr. Philip was born on May 6, 1987 to Mr. Jose Jerry (+) and Mrs. Vilma Tan of Tenga-Tenga, Cuyo, Palawan. He began his seminary life in 2005 when he entered the Seminario de San Jose in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for his Philosophical Studies.  read more »

FATHER GEORGE J. WILLMANN, was born at Brooklyn, New York. An American citizen yet when he set his foot on the Philippine soil, he fell in love with the country and the Filipinos (excerpt from the homily of Jaime Card. Sin on Fr. George’s funeral mass).
