Skills training and livelihood opportunity program held at KCFAPI

A SKILLS training for Hotel and Restaurant Services was conducted for selected youth scholars ages 18-35 at the KC Youth Center, KCFAPI compound, Intramuros, Manila from October 21 to November 20.

The training program aimed to provide livelihood opportunity for young people was cosponsored by the Knights of Columbus Luzon Jurisdiction and KCFAPI, through KC Philippines Foundation, Inc. in cooperation with DSW – Manila Manpower Development Center of Manila.  read more »

Know Your Fire Insurance

IN the Philippines, standard fire insurance includes insurance against loss caused by fire and lightning. Extension of the coverage may be done to include losses against earthquakes, tornadoes, windstorm, and other allied risks.

Fire is classified as friendly or hostile. Friendly fire is that fire that is deliberate and remains within the limits intended for it. Hostile fire is fire that goes out of control and beyond the limits intended for it.  read more »

KCFAPI posts highest sales

KCFAPI posted the highest first year insurance contribution income in seven months during the year 2008. The PhP9.6 Million for July 2008 also broke all previous records and is now a milestone achieved by the Fraternal Association as its Golden Jubilee draws near.  read more »

Insurance Commission approves KCFAPI’s newest product

THE Insurance Commission (IC) has approved last July 21, 2008 the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Association of the Philippines, Inc.’s (KCFAPI) newest product: the Super Special Plan for Elderly Knights (Super SPEK).
The Direct Marketing unit headed by Joselito E. Mañalac started its campaign for the new product early this month. Mr. Mañalac is positive that having the “lowest contribution rates that bring the highest level of protection”, Super SPEK will be one of the successful products launched by the Association. KCFAPI passes its 3rd Surveillance Audit

KCFAPI continued to be ISO certified with the confirmation of its certifying body, Certification International (CI). The surveillance audit found our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
CI reported on the strengths of our QMS and the activities that have been initiated by the different departments to meet the corporate quality objectives and ensure external and internal customer satisfaction. (Magdalene G. Flores)
