KCFAPI Team Love Bank brings joy to Hospicio De San Jose

A delegation from the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Association of the Philippines, Inc. (KCFAPI) visited Hospicio De San Jose, one of the largest orphanage in the country located in Manila, for a community outreach held last May 23, 2015 in line with their activities for the Year of the Poor.

Games, role-playing, coloring and feeding program were among the various activities held with selected beneficiaries.
“We are an institution that depends only in donations from the people with good heart like the Knights of Columbus,” said Sister Ma. Magdalena Erasmo of the Pastoral Care and Homelife Services of Hospicio De San Jose.  read more »

KCFAPI Employees visit the Correctional Institution for Women

At the start of the Year 2015, the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Association of the Philippines, Inc. (KCFAPI) organized a project dubbed as “Year of the Poor activities”. The project, spearheaded by KCFAPI EVP, Ms. Ma. Theresa G. Curia aims to engage employees towards evangelization in line with the theme of the Catholic Church: “Year of the Poor” by way of activity projects that will benefit the needy and the less privileged sector of our society. In view of this, there will be monthly themed activities from April to August 2015. For the month of April, the project will focus on people who were abandoned or those considered outcast of our society.  read more »

A Physical and Spiritual Encounter with the Abandoned/Outcast

Way back during the time of Jesus Christ, people with leprosy were shunned as outcasts and looked upon as cursed. Because of social condemnation, they were avoided and forced to live in recluse without any support or means of livelihood. It was only through God’s unconditional love and care of the sick and their faith in Him that they were given hope to live. To this day, it is but sad to know that despite the progress in modern science and medicine, there are still people in our society who view our brothers and sisters with lepers in the same manner as before.  read more »

Fraternal Counselor of the Year

Our 2014 Fraternal Counselor of the Year is none other than Bro. Lauro L. Evangelista of Central Luzon Believers 1 (CLB1). This is his 3rd title as Fraternal Counselor of the Year. Area Manager of the Year

Our 2014 Area Manager of the Year is none other than Bro. Manuel Naldoza of the Central Luzon Conquerors (CLC). This is the 4th “Area Manager of the Year” award of Bro. Wel as he received the same recognition in 2000, 2004 and in 2005.

The 38th Fr. George J. Willmann, SJ Annual Family Service Awards will be held on March 6 to 8 at the Bellevue Hotel and Resort, Panglao, Bohol.
