Bro. Marlon B. Mañaol

BRO. Marlon B. Mañaol first became a member of the Order of the Knights of Columbus in Maypajo, Kalookan and eventually became Deputy Grand Knight of Maria Auxiliadora Council 8987.

At the age of 19, he became a Barangay Councilman. And at the age of 21, he became the President of the “Asosasyon ng mga Barangay Kagawad” in Caloocan City.

Upon his transfer to Quezon City, he was once again called to serve as a Member of the Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion and has recently been appointed to Head the Stewardship Ministry of the Sta. Maria Della Strada Parish along Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.

He transferred his K of C Membership to the Sta. Maria Delta Strada Council 8444 and served as its Grand Knight for 3 terms from 2005 to 2008. During his term, they received the Columbian Award (2005-06) and the Double Star Council Award for two Columbian Years (2006-07 and 2007-08).

Also during his last term as Grand Knight, they received the highest State Award from the Luzon Jurisdiction, the Best Church Activity Award which became their Official entry to the Supreme Council, New Haven Connecticut, entitled “Project 10 – 10: Php 10 Million over 10 Ways of Giving.”

In 2016, he headed the conceptualization and implementation of “1D” or “One Della Strada” Stewardship Campaign that reached Php 20,351,765.51 after 15 weeks of implementation as of January 28, 2017.

As the District Deputy of District C55, he instituted the new Claret Council 16704 of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, UP Village QC, with the help of the Parish Priest and its Charter Members.

Mañaol is also the Chief of Staff of District 4 – NCR North of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Ferdinand Magellan Province since 2016.

He is the Past Faithful Navigator of the Quezon City Assembly that exemplified 68 New 4th Degree Members in 2016. He is the Charter Faithful Navigator of the newly formed Katipunan Assembly.

Marlon was born on May 27, 1974 in Caloocan City to Mario N. Mañaol, former Vice –Mayor of San Luis Pampanga and Carmelita B. Mañaol, a retired entrepreneur and agriculturist. He is happily married to Michelle S. Mañaol, a marketing consultant; and a proud father of Marco Miguel S. Mañaol, a student in Ateneo Senior High School; Martin Mikhail S. Mañaol, a student in Ateneo Grade School and Marius Mitchel S. Mañaol, a happy baby.

Currently, he is the Senior Sales Director of GMA 7, GMA News TV and GMA Regional TV. He received his Degree of AB Economics and BS Marketing Management from De La Salle University. He also received the Academic Distinction as one of the Graduation Honors from San Beda High School.

Bro. Elmer Z. Eroles

An active member of the Knights of Columbus Manila Council 1000, he started as member in 1992. He became the Grand Knight in 1996-1997 before he became District Deputy and Faithful Navigator of Padre Burgos Assembly. He is also a retired Manila Council 1000 Chairman of the Management Board.

He had the privilege to become the state officer of Luzon Jurisdiction as Athletic Events Chairman and State Council Director and recognized by then Luzon State Deputies Alonso L. Tan and Arsenio Isidro G. Yap.

When the Luzon Jurisdiction was divided into two, Bro. Eroles became the State Program Director since 2014 of the Luzon South Jurisdiction headed by State Deputy Ramoncito Ocampo.

He became one of the Supreme Council Awardees for both Church and Family Categories for the Columbian year 2014 to 2015; and Culture of Life in 2015 to 2016.

Bro. Eroles is a B.S. Commerce major in accounting graduate of Luzonian University in Lucena City. He retired in 1980 as the Credit and Collection Manager of Puyat Group of Company.
He is married to Marlyn and blessed with two children namely Elmer, Jr and Satchel. He believes that “when opportunities come, grab it!”
